چکیده
Legumes are essential foods for man and animal. They contribute to food security globally. However, they negatively affected by Sclerotinia diseases caused sclerotiorum, which infects over 600 plant species. There is a limited number of review studies on the management sclerotiorum disease in legume crops. Here, we explore earlier occurrences, yield losses, other negative effects spp. legumes. Additionally, studied various strategies used controlling We conclude that impact crops causes an economic loss, as it reduces their quality yield. Among explored, genetic control challenging due resistance among germplasm, while biological agents show promising results. Fungicide application effective during outbreaks diseases. Lastly, this has uncovered gaps current knowledge regarding alleviation

Engineering Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum Resistance in Oilseed Crops
The fungal pathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary is worldwide in distribution and pathogenic to more than 400 plant species. This disease causes significant yield losses of various important crops including sunflower, canola, and soybean. Applying fungicides and crop rotation are currently the major methods of controlling this disease. However, fungicide chemicals are expensive, not ...
متن کاملOrphan legume crops enter the genomics era!
Many of the world's most important food legumes are grown in arid and semi-arid regions of Africa and Asia, where crop productivity is hampered by biotic and abiotic stresses. Until recently, these crops have also suffered from a dearth of genomic and molecular-genetic resources and thus were 'orphans' of the genome revolution. However, the community of legume researchers has begun a concerted ...

There are many immune mediated disorders with the corroborated role of vitamin D or Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) gene polymorphisms in their pathogenesis, immunologic regulation, and disease characteristics. Therefore, in this review, we searched PubMed data base in regard to the role of VDR gene polymorphisms in common autoimmune disorders, emphasizing on dermatologic diseases.

Autoimmune connective tissue diseases are a heterogeneous group of pathologies that affect about 10% of world population with chronic evolution in 20%-80%. Inflammation in autoimmune diseases may lead to serious damage to other organs including the gastrointestinal tract. Gastrointestinal tract involvement in these patients may also due to both a direct action of antibodies against organs and p...
